Created to support the incredible work of the social care sector, the foundation strives to keep the spotlight on social care and highlight the positive impact it has on society. Anita plays a leading role within the foundation, backing up projects promoting the social care workforce, and funding individuals, organisations and charities within the sector to advance their work or research.
Founded in 1997 by Anvish Goyal, Hallmark Care Homes was established on the belief that every older person should get the best quality of care after a life of contribution. This includes employing and supporting passionate people who deserve to be rewarded and recognised for their empathetic and tireless service. People are valued and cared for, above all else.
As co-founder trustee of the Hallmark Care Homes Foundation, Anita has worked on several projects promoting this message, including the Together with Music project and The Care Worker’s Charity Emergency Coronavirus Fund. With the foundation’s support, this appeal raised an incredible £2 million to help UK care workers at the frontline of the coronavirus crisis.
